Some of my friends

Here are some pictures of some of my friends...

Massimiliano and me on the motorboat of a friend of ours. Great day to the Cinque Terre!

Emanuele and his baby Jacopo.

Me with Rabi (2nd from right) and Anne-Sophie. A little get-together of purdue-ans in Amsterdam.

Maria Elena, Fabio and their first child Mattia on his 2nd birthday. I'll always remember the day Mattia was born.

My last days in the US as a student. NYC with Mark (behind the camera), Kausar, Rajesh and his wife.

My great friend Mark and I in Union square, NYC.The joy of meeting again was only dampened by my imminent return to Europe.

Emanuele and Maurizio during a short walk around Montecarlo (Principaute de Monaco) where Emanuele resides.

Ute, Stefano and Michela (lft to rght) strolling around Montecarlo.

Mark, Kausar, Soheila, Kelly and Melanie having a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at K&S's house in Baltimore.

Dirk and me at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. We are standing in front of the poster summarizing our work together (the Dresden-West Lafayette axis of evil.)

Here are my most important people in Tango. Fred and Yermen (2nd and 3rd from left) who taught me about elegance and being a gentleman on and off the dance floor. Joe and Carlota (1st and 3rd from the right) who worked with me and Melanie (2nd from right) with patience and love Fri after Fri.

Another piece of my tango family. Aaron and Peishan started dancing tango under Melanie's and my instruction. It was a pleasure to try steps, play and chat with them. I'm sorry I missed their wedding, but I was thinking about you!

My great friend Maria Rita. Working in LA, what will come first? The Nobel or the Oscar? ;)

Surrounded by beauty in San Gimignano. Sarah (right) and Sascha during our summer trip to Tuscany.

A (little) part of my tango group at Purdue after one of my classes.
Kneeing down from left: Sandra (1st), Anna, Mariko
Standing from left: Peishan, aaron, Joanne and Dan, .., Melanie, me, Natalya, Evie, Josh and Jing-Ke.

Marco and Juana at Stefano and Ute's wedding. Don't they look all serious and grown up after their own wedding? :)
Nice couple uh?

My good friend Alexandra and her young boyfriend.
The younger the better?... well, at least he doesn't mind your jokes... yet.
